Over the last 6 months we’ve been volunteering with National Parks Association of NSW to organise a very special event: the Tallaganda 30x30 trail run.
On June 1st, a team of 30 people will run 30 km through Tallaganda to call for it’s protection as part of Australia’s commitment to 30x30—the global target to protect at least 30% of Earth's land and waters by 2030. Winding through pristine forest and sections that were logged approximately 5 years ago, the course showcases what we stand to lose if we don’t stand up for the places we love. The run will be hosted by National Parks Association of NSW and Wilderness Australia, and sponsored by Paddy Pallin.
We’re using the run to fundraise for National Parks Association of NSW and Wilderness Australia as they collaboratively campaign to convert Tallaganda State Forest into a protected national park. The fundraising page explains how the funds will be used by these charities:
You can support this campaign by making a donation to the fundraising page or sharing with your friends and family to spread the word about Tallaganda. Public support is crucial for a successful national park proposal, so sharing is just as valuable as donating.

Thank you for taking the time to read this! We’ll be sharing photos, videos, and updates here as well as on Instagram and Facebook.
